A rare fully enameld sterling silver brooch celebrating. Solid sterling silver and with the crown signifying the Royal connection. The Royal College of Nursing was founded in 1916 as the College of Nursing, receiving its royal charter in 1928. Queen Elizabeth II was the patron until her death in 2022. This is an early example signed J R Gaunt to the reverse.
