The most stunning Victorian brooch. A banded Scottish agate specimen bezel set in an impressive pinchbeck frame. This brooch is in very nice condition however one of the tiny flowers is missing. This has been reflected in the very reasonable price .Wonderful deep russets and dramatic black. Pinchbeck is an alloy that was popularly used as a substitute for gold in jewellery during the Georgian and Victorian eras.
