Having jumped in at the deep end, opened a shop and started a website, I feel I should explain how all this began.

Not able to get out very much, I have quite severe spinal problems, I decided I should take some time to sort out a few odds and ends. This prompted me to start sorting through several boxes of jewellery of varying value and condition. Something that can be done sitting down, ideal. It is amazing how over a period of 40year and may be a little bit more one forgets just how much accumulates in the back of long forgotten cupboards. I thought it would be a great idea to put on Etsy, some bits I haven't worn for years or can no longer manage to fasten. It has now taken over, I love photographing and describing the items, it all brings back happy memories. Lots of Scottish bits from relations and holidays, vintage from the 1980’s, I loved all the glitz, big hair and shoulder pads and little bits of collectable silver, just because I liked them. Then the decision to try out the website, which I am so please with. Next to link it to social media, Tumblr, Pintrest and Twitter, which meant signing up for all of them, a thing I would never have thought to do. So a bit of a new lease of life.

It takes me quite a time to list things and I’ve still got quite away to go so I hope if you take a look at my shop and you enjoy some of the things you see you will let me know.
