I have just read my website statistics and to my utter amazement 8 people have visited my blog in the last 7 days, now I know that doesn’t mean they have read it but quite frankly I don’t mind. They have visited it which I regard as a start.
This has fired me with huge enthusiasm, not an easy thing to do.
This week due to the fact that I couldn’t pull myself away from the telly (Wimbledon) and injury limiting movement I have just been quietly sorting through boxes, far more enjoyable than cooking and washing up etc. Some odd bits of stuff in original packages have come to light. I love vintage still in the boxes they came in, really the only way to collect but becoming more and more difficult to find these days. I didn’t think I would be able to sell them but I am worryingly finding that the excitement of selling something is starting to over take the delight of possession and I just hope that it doesn't take over completely and I start trying to sell my children by the end of the summer. The thing that is difficult is trying to work out the worth of some of these bits when there may be some item like them on sale but without the delight of extras like the Sarah Coventry original guarantee, a particular favourite, see what I mean about the children.
